Day 1

Well hi there.
I'm Lex, and today Christina (my wife) and myself paid the deposit on our new home.
A Nolan 41 Mk II from Metricon. We went over countless inclusions and extras, well as many as we could think of in the Metricon head office with our sales consultant, (Gabby) who has been so helpful.
Anyhow the purpose of this blog is to document and record our journey through the process of building our dream home, as inspired by Tim and Tina. The blog they did has been really helpful to us so far. They are almost at the end of their build as we are setting out on ours.
We are now waiting on soil tests, surveying the site and the preparation of an application for council so we can move the siting of the house forward a little. It's all very exciting!!
I need to buy a new digital camera so I can post some pics along the way, so stay tuned for those.
